@ Your Mailbox
This day all letter carriers, city and rural, will be collecting food from their postal customers, and bringing it in at the completion of their route. Rural carriers will also collect monetary donations (personal checks only) from postal customers. All donations benefit the Operation Feed food drive. Last year, letter carriers collected 12-thousand pounds of food in our area! The letter carriers compete against each other to see who can bring in the most food, so don’t forget to leave your non-perishable food items in a plastic bag near your mailbox on National Letter Carrier Day! Please help supply the Muskingum County Hunger Network food pantries and hot meal programs. Cash donations are very much welcome. Donate money or food items to the Operation Feed food drive. Hunger hurts. Operation feed helps.
